So...Who Is BritGirl?

My name is Emma Grigg and I'm 30 years old. I currently live in a lovely little medieval village called Lenham which is situated in the beautiful Kent countryside in the United Kingdom.

I work for Unity Media as manager of the online department. Unity publish premium quality magazines throughout the Business to Business and Specialist Consumer Motoring sectors. It's my job to look after all areas of the online side of the business from building and maintaining the websites and servers to online marketing and self promotion.

I tend to spend most of my time on the computer, building sites and keeping up with the latest web developments and technology trends - from programming languages to best codes of practice and the latest SEO techniques. The web changes so often, daily even, and I like to (well, at least try to) keep up to date with everything that's going on...and that's not easy!

In the spare time I do have when I'm not sitting in front of the computer (which is a pretty rare occasion to be honest) I like to play the piano, watch movies (I'm an avid DVD collector), play with the latest gadgets, go out with my friends, learn japanese, and on the odd occasion I've actually been know to get some sleep!
